Films: Mars Attacks! (1996)
Alias: None
Type: Alien
Location: Eldritch location/Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Imagine if an alien race watched nothing but movies about them invading our world, and started getting ideas. Indeed, if there's something ridiculous and/or horrifying you've seen in one of those old sci-fi films, these guys will have it in store, and then some.
History: Hailing from the underground of Mars, these insane conquerors had one goal in mind. Mainly, eradicate all human life, take over Earth, and have fun while doing so. They like nothing more than unleashing cartoonish violence on us and toying with our emotions. All for a good laugh. Because that's all we humans are, aren't we?
Notable Kills: Tipping a building over so it lands on a bunch of people, shrinking the general to squishable size, and killing the President with a fake mechanical arm.
Final Fate: Just when the invasion seems victorious, the aliens are all systematically taken out when "Indian Love Call" is blared across the world. All civilization has to do now is pick up the pieces.
Powers/Abilities: The Martians have an assortment of classic sci-fi tech, including ray guns, giant robots, shrink rays, and even a machine that sucks up the raw power of a bomb and turns it into helium.
Weakness: Anything conventional, but certain types of music instantly make their brains rupture and explode.
Scariness Factor: 4-Armies and armies of these skeletal-looking monsters coming your way. All of them having a special idea of how to get a bunch of laughs from your horrible demise. Indeed, this is one of the most twisted invasions ever...now if only they weren't so easy to kill in the end.
Trivia: -This film is mainly based off a trading card series of the same name. Needless to say, those cards were MUCH gorier and absurd, with the Martians having not just robots, but armies of mutant giant insects.
-In a hilarious case of casting drama, Tim Burton was told that he couldn't kill any of the characters being played by Jack Nicolson. So he put Jack in two roles at once, including the President...and killed them both.
